Elior North America appoints former bakery-cafe CEO to top post
Olivier Poirot most recently served as chief executive of Le Duff America.
Olivier Poirot has been named chief executive of Elior North America, a multinational company that contracts dining and catering services in healthcare, business and industry, education and other types of noncommercial foodservice operations.
Poirot previously held the post of CEO for Le Duff America, operator of bakery-cafe concepts including La Madeleine, Mimi’s Cafe, Bruegger’s Bagels and Brioche Doree. He started there in 2016.
“Olivier's long experience in the U.S. market and his leadership in the food and services industries are key to support the further development and growth of Elior North America, which is at the heart of our strategy,” said Elior Group CEO Philippe Guillemot in a press release. The parent company, based in France, operates in 15 countries.
Prior to joining Le Duff, Poirot worked in the noncommercial sector as chief financial officer and executive vice president of Sodexo North America.
