Chef brings homestyle fare to employee cafeteria

Dec. 14—With the lunch crowd gone, LeReine Frampton steps into the kitchen of her newly opened cafeteria to bring a visitor the last wrapped piece of her homemade bread pudding.
"You won't be disappointed,'' Frampton assures. "You'll be sure to come back for more.''
As promised, the taste is reminiscent of a grandmother's coveted recipe -- a compliment Frampton is clearly pleased to hear.
Still another kudo comes straight from the mouth of Joe Young, the owner of Tier One Realty at 31 Pecks Lane, who chose Frampton -- the Democratic town registrar and first-time restaurateur -- to operate the cafeteria for employees as well as other area folks.
