Michael Symon joins Sodexo’s Kitchen Works as a culinary ambassador

Celebrity chef, restaurateur and TV personality Michael Symon, will create seasonal menus for Kitchen Works with the goal of celebrating diverse communities and flavors.

Kitchen Works, Sodexo’s workplace foodservice brand, has a new culinary ambassador. Michael Symon, a celebrity chef, restaurateur and TV personality has joined the team. The Cleveland-born chef has become well known through appearances on Food Network shows such as Iron Chef America, Burgers, Brew and ‘Que,

Symon joins the company with the mission of improving daily well being with food by creating simple, nutritious meals for everybody.

Through the partnership, Symon will bring his culinary expertise to create seasonal menu items that celebrate diverse communities and flavors. Symon has a specialty of fusing cuisine to create creative nutritious dishes.

“As a chef, my passion for bold, delicious flavors that are uncomplicated stems from the idea that food unites us by honoring the diverse backgrounds of our guests,” said Symon, in a statement. “By offering a variety of flavors and accommodating different dietary needs, we make it easy to choose a satisfying and energizing meal.”

In addition to his time spent as a TV personality, Symon also owns Cleveland-based restaurants Lola and Mabel’s BBQ. He has also written several cookbooks.
