A new meal delivery service operating in Northern California's Bay Area promises to deliver organic meals to customers for $6 just a few minutes after placing an order. The service, SpoonRocket, is currently available only in Berkeley and neighboring Emeryville.

It features a very limited menu (one meat and one vegetarian option each day) that is prepared in a central kitchen and then put on trucks equipped with heaters that keep food fresh and allow the ultra quick delivery, according to an article in Tech Crunch. Menu items have included Leg of Lamb Sate, Wild Mushroom and Tofu Teriyaki and Ginger Glazed Short Ribs.
