Candace Kropetz, dining service director at Frontier’s Bayside Terrace community, earned the 2018 Oregon Health Care Association’s  Innovative Program and Improvement Award for her role launching a nonprofit initiative that puts seniors in charge of an entrepreneurial jam and sauce business called Sticky Spoon Jammers. The preserves not used in dining services are sold to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
