Sodexo has confirmed that it has been chosen to manage concessions and fine dining at the athletic venues on the University of Michigan campus. The venues include 107,000-seat Michigan Stadium, the 14,000-seat Crisler Arena basketball venue and 6,600-seat Yost Ice Arena as well as other facilities for baseball, track, soccer and softball. The current concessionaire is V/Gladieux Enterprises, whose 10-year contract expires in June. The deal coincides with Michigan Stadium’s $226 million renovation, which will add 49 suites and several thousand club-seats to what is the largest capacity stadium in college football.
