Fresh Ideas, a small independent foodservice contractor based in Columbia, MO, has won the contract to operate dining at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL, reports the Columbia Daily Tribune. The $40 million, 10-year deal is the latest for the company founded a dozen years ago and which now has about 20 contracts with a variety of clients ranging from colleges to businesses. Kennedy has a potential dining client base of around 9,000 onsite staff. In addition, another 2,000 work at the adjacent Patrick Air force Base.
