Mets, Aramark in Joint Venture

The New York Mets and Aramark have launched Metropolitan Hospitality, a joint business venture creating a year-round hospitality destination for non-gameday events at Citi Field, the Mets’ new ballpark scheduled to open next year. Metropolitan’s more than 60,000 sq.ft. of hospitality space are designed to accommodate corporate meetings, receptions, private parties, trade shows, weddings, and a variety of other events ranging from intimate settings for 25 to luxury offerings for more than 1,500 guests, in spaces as large as 22,500 square feet. Groups of all sizes will be able to select a standard menu or design their own custom menu.

Aramark has a 30-year deal to serve as exclusive concessionaire managing all concessions, retail stores, kiosks, as well as luxury suites, clubs, and a specialty restaurant for Citi Field.
