An investigation by the state Office of Inspector General concluded that a former manager at the Georgia Building Authority (GBA) steered a temporary food services staffing contract to a friend's company, which received about $1.8 million in less than three years under the deal, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Inspectors also found that many employees of PSM, the staffing company in question, also worked for GBA, raising the possibility of double-billing.

GBA officials say they have terminated Dwayne Robinson, former director of foodservices for GBA’s cafeteria and events operation, for his involvement in the arrangement.
