Cafeteria operations at Harrisburg (PA) Area Community College closed down on May 8th as the school's dining services provider since 2005 had stopped operations at the school following a notice that its contract would not be renewed for next year, reports Penn Live. HACC had notified Omni Dining Services on April 8 that its contract would expire on June 30 and the school received notification on May 7th from Omni “that food service on the Harrisburg Campus would permanently close May 8, 2014,” according to Richard Cardamone, HACC's executive director of business affairs. Omni operated the main cafeteria at the Bruce E. Cooper Student Center and a small cafeteria in North Hall on the Harrisburg campus.
