Contract Firms Form "Sustainable" Joint Venture

Trusthouse Services Group, Inc., and FDY, Inc., have formed a joint venture “sustainable lifestyle-driven foodservice management company” called FDY Trusthouse Services to solicit business in the healthcare and college segments.

Trusthouse was launched a year ago by former Compass Group plc CEO Michael Bailey with the acquisitions of regional contract foodservice companies Aladdin Food Management Services and Fitz, Vogt & Associates, along with Aladdin subsidiary AmeriServe Food Management Services. The firm recently launched the first all-vegetarian/all-organic campus dining program at a major university in the country at Maharishi University in Iowa.

FDY is a 100% minority owned firm that has partnerships with Sodexo to manage dining programs a number of colleges and universities and with HMS Host at the Charlotte Douglass International Airport, where it operates a franchised Bojangles unit.
