Compass Group PLC is the sixth-largest corporate employer in the world, according to the My Global Career 500 listing compiled by My Global Employer blog-based careers site. Compass’s 410,074 employees led the onsite foodservice industry, though it was behind commercial restaurant chain operator McDonald’s Corp. (#4) and French supermarket operator Carrefour (#5) in the overall food industry. Wal-Mart was #1 followed by two German firms, Deutsche Post and Siemens Group. Sodexho Alliance cracked the Top 20 at #16 while Aramark was #59.
