Program will initially roll out at 25 university client sites.
Aramark is launching a mobile ordering and delivery mobile application in partnership with Tapingo for the college/university market. The service is slated to roll out initially at 25 campuses following successful pilots using Tapingo’s mobile commerce platform at client sites such as the University of Central Florida and High Point University.
Aramark said in its announcement that it sees mobile technology as fundamental to its growth strategy. “Across the business landscape, the most successful companies are leveraging mobile to stimulate consumer engagement while streamlining operations,” explained Brent Franks, Aramark’s COO of Education. “The partnership provides us with an opportunity to offer a convenient mobile solution and further strengthens our ability to provide outstanding customer service.”
“We’re excited that Aramark has recognized and is responding to a new generation of customers who expect ultimate convenience,” added Jeff Hardy, Chief Business Officer at Tapingo. “We look forward to working with Aramark to bring cutting-edge mobile commerce technology to customers and operators across the country.”
