Aramark has announced an expanded partnership with University of Tennessee Athletics to provide general concessions for the university's sports facilities, including Neyland Stadium, Thompson-Boling Arena and Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The company began managing general concessions at the start of the current football season. It has also served as UT's residential and retail dining provider and managed suite catering services for Tennessee Athletics' facilities since 1997.

At 102,000-seat Neyland Stadium, Aramark has upgraded the general concessions stands, installed new cooking equipment, hung new menu boards to make it easier to order and increased directional signage to locate food stands. The changes have so far contributed to a double-digit increase in per capita spending over prior year.

"We are very excited about this new relationship with Aramark," says Bill Myers, senior associate athletics director/CFO of UT's Department of Athletics. "Aramark brings significant industry expertise to our concessions operations, and we believe this new partnership will generate increased value for our customers."

"We are pleased to be expanding our partnership with University of Tennessee Athletics and look forward to enhancing the game day experience with fan-friendly dining options in general concessions, as well as continuing to provide a full range of menu items in suites and other premium dining areas," offers Kevin Kenney, regional director for Aramark Sports & Entertainment.

New signature items that have been added to Neyland Stadium's concessions menu include...

The Clucker: Fried chicken, country pickles and coleslaw on a country roll with a side of fried taters.

The Caboose: Angus single burger patty topped with cheese, bacon, pulled pork, jalapenos, onions and Smokey's sauce. Served with a side of fried taters.

Pulled Pork Topped Hot Dog: All-beef hot dog with barbecue smoked pulled pork, coleslaw and pickled onions.

Hickory Pulled Pork Nachos: House fried tortillas stuffed with barbecue smoked pulled pork, scallions, pintos, pico de gallo, jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, sour cream and Old City Magic spice.

Aramark currently provides food and beverage services for athletic facilities at more than 35 colleges and universities.
