Aramark has signed a 10-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins National Hockey League team to provide food, beverage and retail merchandise services for the Penguins’ new arena, scheduled to open in the fall of 2010. Aramark has managed concessions for the Penguins at its current home in Mellon Arena since 1991. Under terms of the new agreement, Aramark will be the exclusive concessionnaire managing all food and beverage, retail stores, kiosks as well as luxury suites, clubs and a planned restaurant. The company will also collaborate on the planning and design of the concession and dining areas as well as retail space for the new arena. Aramark currently manages food/beverage and retail operations at 10 NHL arenas.
