Aramark is opening a gluten-free concession stand at Coors Field, home of Major League Baseball’s Colorado Rockies, reportedly the first such stand in the major leagues, reports the Associated Press. The stand will offer gluten-free hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, brownies and even beer. Gluten is a component in a wide variety of foods made with grains, and can trigger sometimes severe reactions in individuals with celiac disease.

Aramark also recently offered gluten-free products at a special stand for Celiac Awareness Night at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, where a similar menu of items was sold. Aramark has offered gluten-free products at various stands but the dedicated serving station at Coors Field is believed to be the first in any ballpark to specialize in gluten-free concessions.
