Aramark Chosen for New Vikings Stadium Deal

The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority and the Minnesota Vikings have chosen to negotiate a contract with Aramark to operate concessions at the new Vikings stadium, reports the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. Aramark, of six bidders for the deal with the $975 million facility where the NFL team is expected to begin play in 2016. Aramark already operates in 13 NFL stadiums and also handles concessions in 51,000-seat TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the home field for University of Minnesota football.
