Aramark Healthcare Technologies has entered into a strategic alliance with managed print services firm Auxilio, Inc., to offer its hospital clients an option on managing all print-related expenses and increasing efficiencies in the production of documents, including services, supplies, equipment, legacy service agreements, parts, finance charges and labor.

"Financial challenges continue to top the hospital c-suite agenda and our partners rely on us for innovative strategies to help them drive efficiency," says Victor Crawford, COO of Aramark's Healthcare businesses. "This arrangement is one example of how we are working to introduce new ideas; Auxilio is able to guarantee savings of up to 30 percent on hospital printing expenses."

Auxilio manages more than 1.5 billion documents annually for some of the nation's largest and most prestigious hospital systems.

"With the medical technologies and print service functions beginning to organize more and more under the hospital CIO, this arrangement has great synergy to leverage the strengths of our organizations to better support the current needs of driving savings and operational efficiency at hospitals and health systems across the nation," offers Auxilio President/CEO Joseph Flynn.
