The University of Notre Dame is considering outsourcing the general concessions at its seven athletic venues, which have been self-operated for over 30 years, reports the Sports Business Journal. Representatives of seven concessions management firms recently met with university officials to discuss the matter. Notre Dame's two primary concessions venues are its football stadium, where 50 permanent stands on three levels currently offer over 400 points of sale, and Purcell Pavilion, the new main basketball arena, which boasts seven permanent stands and 40 points of sale.
