Metz names Kim Brenku director of clinical nutrition

New role will establish consistency and continuity across healthcare division.

Jan. 19—Metz Culinary Management has named Kim Brenkus as director of clinical nutrition services.

Brenkus' focus will be to establish consistency and continuity across the healthcare division as far as clinical and nutrition standards are concerned. She will also develop and strengthen formats for various programs. Benkus has more than 20 years of experience in the foodservice industry, including most recently as director of clinical services for AVI Foodsystems.

Brenkus graduated from Edinboro University, in Pennsylvania, with a B.S. in nutrition and she holds an MBA from Lake Erie College.

“Kim’s role as director of clinical nutrition services is as an essential quality control regulator for our healthcare division,” said Craig Solomon, vice president, Healthcare division of Metz Culinary Management, in a press release. “She will ensure Metz is ahead of regulatory requirements, achieves clinical excellence and strives to maintain the highest quality of food standards possible for our clients.”
