Fiscal 2014 Revenues: $123,000,000

The K-12 segment has been good to Nutrition Group, which saw the number of contracts it holds balloon by almost a hundred in the past year, when revenues also shot up over 20 percent.

The company offers clients an integrated package of foodservice, catering, custodial/maintenance and vending management services, as well as dining facility design and consulting services.  It currently operates at 1,420 individual locations, mostly K-12 schools.

The company recently introduced Create Your Own Bowl, an a la carte option that enables secondary students to build their favorite dishes and offers a variety of options.  It also enhanced its Wellness Wednesday program for elementary students with a new set of options.

Meanwhile, management was restructured to position Nutrition Group for further growth.  Jessica Anzelone was named managing director and former school division president Dan Bazylak relocated to Florida to oversee growth in the South. Nancy Kohl succeeds Bazylak at the school division while Kevin Rindock and Patty Baresse were named directors of operations for the Ohio Valley/Great Lakes and Eastern Pennsylvania regions, respectively.
