Fruit and rich cheese make an excellent combination. A new way to serve up a pizza style that will delight your customers.

Ingredients

4 lbs. frozen pizza or bread dough, thawed
Olive oil, as needed
1 lb. 12 oz. well-drained Pacific Northwest diced canned pears
Dried thyme leaves, to taste
10 oz. blue cheese, crumbled
 

Steps

  1. Roll dough to fit an 18- x 26-in. sheet pan. Press dimples all over surface with fingertips. Brush dough with olive oil.

  2. Scatter with diced pears; sprinkle with thyme and cheese.

  3. Bake at 400°F until crust is browned and cheese melts, about 10 min.

  4. Cut into 24 squares, about 4 1⁄2 x 4 1⁄2 in.
