Sept. 26—Last week was an exciting one at Grand Court Lubbock, as residents were invited to tour the brand-new, totally-remodeled kitchen at the heart of this senior living community.
Everything in the newly remodeled kitchen has been enlarged and upgraded, from the pantry and office space to the freezer and dishwasher, explains Dining Services Director Robert Garcia.
“Our goal has always been to make each meal the best it can be for our residents and to meet their requests by providing the foods they love,” he says. “Mealtime is an opportunity to come together, and we put an emphasis on making every meal a special occasion. Our new kitchen will allow us to further improve on the great dining services we offer.”
According to Robert, an exciting new aspect of the Grand Court Lubbock kitchen is the “Bistro.” This “kitchen within a kitchen” will allow the dining staff to offer residents a wealth of freshly-prepared, cooked to order options at every meal.
