Crane's Mill Retirement Community in West Caldwell, N.J., has begun hosting its own cooking demos online.
Executive Chef Dominic Ackerman used Facebook Live to teach viewers how to prepare a savory crepe filled with baby arugula, crab meat and grilled corn, and a sweet crepe with suzette sauce. The video was also posted on YouTube.
Throughout the pandemic, senior-living chefs have turned to the internet to engage their residents and the community at large.
