Residents at Canterbury Park Independent Living in Longview, Wash., were treated to an afternoon tea by Chef Darren McGrady, who previously worked as a personal chef to Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana, The Daily News reports.

Along with tea, the menu included tea sandwiches, lavender shortbread and royal tea scones. Chef McGrady taught Canterbury Park chefs how to prepare the different dishes.

The event was part of a partnership with McGrady and Koelsch Communities, which oversees Canterbury Park.
