Cedarhurst Independent Living in Tulsa, Okla., is offering a winemaking class for its residents, News on 6 reports

The idea for the class came from Cedarhurst’s chef, Kevin Frank, who also leads the instruction.

The class was launched during the pandemic and has continued ever since. Frank selects the ingredients for the wine and mixes them together to ferment. Once the wine is mature, residents in the class help bottle it and distribute it to their peers.

So far, the class has made sangria, pinot grigio and more.
