The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced that it will offer Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits to low-income children of all ages this summer.
P-EBT was created last spring during the COVID-19 school closures to provide food dollars to families whose children would normally receive free or reduced-priced meals at school.
The program’s expansion is expected to provide nutrition assistance to over 30 million children this summer.
