Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts, is featuring menu items from two of its star players this football season.

All-pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard and defensive tackle Grover Stewart were tapped to be “Chief Flavor Officers” as they collaborated on the dishes with Shimells “Shimu” Adem, executive chef for Sodexo Live!, the stadium’s foodservice provider.

Leonard and Chef Adem created The Maniac Burger of the Game, which will take on a different theme for each home game to match the signature food from the opposing team's city. Proceeds from each burger will go to the Maniac Foundation, which was founded by Leonard and his wife to help transform lives through education, wellness and serving families in need.

Stewart’s contribution to the menu is Grover Stewart’s Kitchen Sink Wings, a secret recipe from the football player’s home kitchen. The wings are on the menu at the stadium's Grill-N-Brew and Red Zone Grill.

Both the wings and burger will only be available during the Colts’ regular season.

Lucas Oil's new kids menu also got some input from the football team. Sodexo Live! and the Colts hosted a pre-season kids tasting event to get ideas and feedback. Mini corn dogs and ham and cheese sandwiches scored high points with the young tasters and made the final cut.

There are some surprises in store for fans over 21 as well. A roster of new craft cocktails are on offer in the general concourse as well as the clubs and suites. Through a new partnership with local restaurant St. Elmo Steak House, the wine selection has also been updated to include the 2017 Jayson, 2021 Twomey and 2019 The Hess Collection, to name a few. The stadium is also adding Sweetens Cove Tennessee Bourbon, backed by Colts legend Peyton Manning, to its club and suite offerings this season.

“Each year, we strive to bring fresh new ideas to Lucas Oil Stadium to provide a well-rounded fan experience, and I think everyone who visits will really enjoy what we’ve put together with Sodexo Live! and our local partners this year,” Roger VanDerSnick, chief sales and marketing officer for the Colts, said in a statement. “We’re especially excited to involve our players in this year’s menu offerings through Chef Shimu’s collaboration with Shaquille and Grover.”
