For the start of the Major League Soccer season on Feb. 26, Toyota Stadium is turning up the heat for FC Dallas fans.

Under the direction of Executive Chef Rex Turner and General Manager Kristy Rempel, the Legends culinary team at the venue created a roster of spicy new menu items in response to fan feedback.

Rex Mex Hot Dog

The lineup showcases “the beloved pepper that FC Dallas fans love” in a number of variations. Among the new items is a Jalapeno Pimento Cheeseburger; Ultimate Tachos with Casa M Whole Hog Spice, chipotle queso, shredded cheddar, jalapeno ranch and chives; Firecracker Chicken on a Stick (chicken breast stuffed with smoked cheddar cheese and wrapped with jalapeno and bacon); and the “Rex” Mex Hot dog, topped with white queso, chorizo, cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, fresh jalapeno, crushed Doritos and hot sauce.

Some of the “tamer” offerings include a Monster Taco with barbacoa, Black Bean Burger, Roasted Veggie Wrap and Buffalo Chicken Nachos.

“We are so excited to launch this new group of delicious items for fans, building upon the versatile greatness of the pepper,” says Turner. “These new selections have the freshness we are known for, spice and super-satisfying combinations that innovate classic match day fan faves.”

The new items are divided among different dining locations and concession stands in the stadium. The menu was launched on Wednesday at a preview event called #ToyotaStadiumEats.
