These classic dinner rolls feature whole-wheat flour for a healthy kick.

Ingredients

31⁄3 cups warm water
1⁄2 cup vegetable oil
1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp. salt
3 cups quick rolled oats
1/4 cup active dry yeast
5 cups white bleached flour
2 cups whole-wheat flour

Steps

1. Combine water, oil, sugar, salt and oats in mixing bowl.

2. Add flour and yeast. Mix on low speed until combined, then on #2 speed for 10 to 15 minutes, to let gluten form. Pour dough onto floured table.

3. Make 5 lb. of dough into rectangle in 5300 pan. (This makes it easier to roll out.) Cut into 36 or 72 rolls and brush with melted margarine. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°F, until tops are browned.
