This week on Food Management the top story was Aramark introduces very LTO items to arena menus. Aramark has introduced an LTO program called Game Day Goes Gourmet at the NHL and NBA arenas where it operates concessions—and when it says LTO (i.e., Limited Time Offer), it’s not kidding! That’s because the company says that only 24 of each item will be sold at each game during the 2023-24 season.

In other news, FM Top 50 firm Metz Culinary Management, Inc. has launched an allergen-free dining concept called Pure Simple that is designed to meet the dietary needs of guests who struggle with food allergies by addressing the top nine food allergens: eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, shellfish, soy, cow’s milk (dairy) and wheat. The dining concept premiered at Newberry College in South Carolina in late August.
