Students at R. R. Oehrli Elementary School in Montague, MI, have come up with a healthful burger they have dubbed the Obama Burger in honor of first lady Michelle Obama, reports local news station WZZM. The burger, featuring a barbecue flavored turkey patty topped with coleslaw and pickles, was designed to celebrate the fact that R. R. Oehrli was recently named the only school in the state to receive a gold star Healthier Us School Challenge Award from the USDA.

The burger was chosen for its special designation through a blind taste test administered to a hundred fifth graders at the school. The other choices were ground beef and applesauce burgers topped either with low fat yogurt and dried cherries or with baked potato chips. The students have invited Mrs. Obama to come to their school and try the burger they named after her.
