Students in a special education class at Mundelein (IL) High School have opened a beverage concession stand just outside the main gym as a vocational training exercise and sold some 80 cups of coffee to teachers—some delivered to classrooms—in their first hour of operation, reports the Mundelein Sun-Times. The MHS Drink Oasis, which operates only on Friday afternoons, will expand its menu to include smoothies, shakes and hot chocolate on February 24, when it will also begin service to students as well as staff.
