BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Foundation has presented a $200,000 check to Greenville County (SC) Schools Food & Nutrition Services to help continue its efforts to offer nutritious meals for students, reports the Tribune. The district's Culinary Creations program is an effort to address Greenville County's childhood obesity rate of 41 percent by providing healthy, nutritious foods for students in district schools. The program is slated to be fully implemented by 2015.
