The Village School, a charter school in Eugene, OR, is serving a menu consisting entirely of locally grown food, reports local station KEZI. The district had terminated foodservice to its charter schools last year and The Village School took the opportunity to convert to its all-local approach as a result. The cafeteria charges $3.25 for a lunch for cash students, but the meals also qualify for federal reimbursement.
