Nov. 20—Frank DiPasquale has resigned as chief executive officer of the School Nutrition Association, effectively immediately, according to a press release from the SNA. DiPasquale, who was hired 17 months ago to replace the retiring CEO Barbara Belmont, left “to pursue other opportunities,” according to the SNA.

Patricia Montague, SNA’s COO, will be interim CEO while SNA’s board of directors decides on a new search process. SNA President Sandra Ford, who also is director of the Food and Nutrition program for Manatee County (Fla.) Public Schools, said, ”We appreciate the work Frank has done to help us increase our advocacy efforts and for all of his work on behalf of SNA members.”
