Quitman Public Schools in Quitman, Ark., has installed bulletproof shelters in its cafeterias, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.
The shelters can hold more than 200 students and are intended to be used during tornados and active shooter situations.
The shelters are made from bullet-resistant steel, which can resist bullets from semi-automatic weapons.
