School district braces for milk shortage after dairy gets hit with cyber attack

Contoocook Valley School District was notified by its dairy supplier that the attack may disrupt milk orders and deliveries for the next week.

Contoocook Valley School District in Peterborough N.H., is anticipating milk shortages after its dairy supplier was hit by a cyber attack.

The district’s superintendent shared that H.P. Hood Dairy suffered a recent cyber attack that will cause disruptions to its ordering and delivery processes throughout the next week.

The nutrition team is planning on serving 100% juice or water in place of milk.
