HOLMEN, Wis. — A tray of baked chicken, fruit, and milk doesn't sound like anything out of the ordinary for a school lunchroom, but the story behind the chicken makes it unique.

Students in Holmen's FFA have been raising chickens for a few months now as part of a grant and the Farm 2 School Program.

On Friday their hard work was put on the lunch menu. There were about 3,000 servings of baked chicken, shared throughout the district.
