Orlando Schools Debuts NBA Themed Food Cart

Orlando (FL) County Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services has debuted what they call possibly the first NBA franchise themed school food cart. The district hopes the program, conducted in partnership with the Orlando Magic, will promote the goals of wellness, healthy dining and eating a nutritious lunch at school (rather than skipping the meal). The menu for the cart includes a variety of nutritious choices such as barbecue roasted chicken, spicy Asian chicken and a popcorn chicken mashed potato bowl. Representatives of the Magic have made appearances at Orlando schools to promote the program.
