Klamath County School District and Klamath Falls City Schools in Klamath Falls, Ore., are inviting local farmers to come share a meal with students, Herald and News reports.
The lunch is for the districts’ Feed a Farmer event, which aims to educate students about who grows local produce. During this month and next, potato farmers will visit schools to talk to kids about growing potatoes and then will join students for a potato-themed meal in the cafeteria.
