May 21—One of the first rules of kindergarten, sharing, is expected to get big support from the city schools board of education Wednesday.

Superintendent Rik Goodright will recommend that the city schools enter into a shared services agreement with the Canton Local School District in Ohio. The contract will allow Food Services Director Erin Cole to split her time between the two districts.

Canton Local Superintendent Kim Redmond pitched the idea of the shared service contract after the district’s food services director retired.
