The Gloversville and Johnstown school districts in Upstate New York plan to combine their foodservice programs in order to save money, reports the Leader-Herald. The districts, which already collaborate on transportation services, expect to save up to $200,000 in the first year of the program through the sharing of a foodservice director and working together on menu planning and bulk ordering.
