Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb has ordered that all K-12 school buildings remain closed until May 1 due to COVID-19, WLFI reports.
Holcomb also said that he may extend the closures until the start of the next school year. The news follows Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly’s announcement earlier this week that Kansas school buildings would be closed for the remainder of the school year.
As school closures continue throughout the country, K-12 operators are working to quickly provide grab-and-go meals for students.
