A student-initiated "brown-bagging" movement to protest increased prices, reduced portions and federally mandated menu restrictions has impacted the finances of the foodservice department at Plum (PA) High School, reports the Plum-Oakmont Patch. The movement initially dropped daily lunch counts from 900 to 200, causing reductions in labor allocations. Counts picked up somewhat about a week later to around 500 a day.
