Hickory Public Schools names new child nutrition director

Hickory Public Schools has named Tina Pottorff its new director of child nutrition.

In her new role, Pottorff—who formerly served as child nutrition supervisor at HPS—replaces Rebecca Allen Jones as director and will oversee foodservices for the district’s nine schools.

“I’m looking forward to continue working with my team in this new position, as we provide meals and nutritional education to the students of Hickory Public Schools,” Pottorff said in a statement.
