The Fontana (CA) Unified School District is becoming the latest school district to join the Meatless Monday movement, which seeks to encourage vegetarian dining by restricting the serving of meat-based dishes one day a week, reports the Fontana Herald News. The district will offer exclusively vegetarian meals in its cafeterias every Monday, including dishes like meat-free barbecue "rib" sandwiches and veggie burrito bowls.
