Fla. Bill Would Allow "Naming Rights" Sales of School Facilities to Subsidize Nutrition Programs

A bill introduced in late December in the Florida state legislature would allow districts to sell naming rights to school property such as buses and use any resulting revenues to support foodservice operations, reports the Florida Times-Union. The bill is intended to help offset revenue losses from state budget cuts.
