The nutrition team at Brook Avenue Elementary School in Waco, Texas celebrated Thanksgiving a little early with a Thanksgiving meal for students and their families this week, Waco Tribune-Herald reports.

The meal featured traditional Thanksgiving dishes such as turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and more. Faculty and staff from two nearby high schools also pitched in to help serve the meals.

Students were able to invite up to two adult family members to enjoy the meal with them.
