Dec. 12—Boulder Valley School District families who have lobbied for more gluten-free lunch options are getting their wish.

The district is contracting with Canyon Bakehouse in Loveland to supply gluten-free bread, allowing the district to offer both regular and gluten-free options for all its sandwiches.

The district has denoted options on its menu that are naturally gluten-free, but hasn't offered gluten-free substitutes for specific foods. Gluten-free sandwiches will be added to the menu starting Thursday.
